To walk the South West Coast Path ensures that you visit almost every nook and Cranny of the coastline of Cornwall, but it is too long a trek to do it in one day, even one week, so most people book a holiday cottage in Falmouth, or somewhere along the route and walk sections of it. If you plan to hire a holiday cottage in Falmouth, you probably only want to spend a day or two walking and the rest of your time on the beach, or checking out what the town has to offer. It means that you will not see much of the delights of our coastline, so below is a video of the section from Padstow to Penzance.
Anyway, unless you are a completely dedicated hiker, why not spend some time holidaying in our unique holiday cottage in Falmouth? It looks like a lighthouse and was once a meteorological observation tower. Nowadays, it is a holiday cottage with wonderful panoramic views, especially of Falmouth harbour. You can still walk part of the South West Coast Path, both to the North and to the South of Falmouth and at the end of the day you can relax in your beautifully appointed holiday cottage.
